About Us

The Pegasus Centre is a Member group of the National Riding for the Disabled Association. We operate from a purpose built, BHS Approved Riding Centre and livery yard, seven days per week, all year round.

The centre has been built for the use of disabled riders initially but future participation will be developed so that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from the unique enjoyment and learning experience that contact with horses can bring - whatever their ability.

Whether you require a one off 'riding experience' or training towards a recognised accredited qualification, each course can be tailored to meet individual needs and/or curriculum criteria.

What's Available

(in conjunction with partner colleges as appropriate)

• One-off 'Taster Sessions'
• Training for volunteers and Riding for the Disabled Instructors
• Introduction to Horse management and ownership (if appropriate)
• British Horse Society qualifications
• Riding holidays (non-residential)

On completion all students receive the centre's own certificate in recognition of achievement. Please call for more information.

Our instructors, staff and volunteers are dedicated to ensuring that all our riders receive a high standard of professional tuition that is tailored to suit their personal capabilities and help them achieve their potential. Equally importantly we want all our riders to enjoy their experience and have fun!
