We help hundreds of people, young and old, experienced riders or novices, including people with a wide range of disabilities, to discover the joys of horse-riding.
We operate from a purpose-built riding school and livery stable, surrounded by acres of grass-land and moor-land, providing access to miles of bridleways without the need to access roads, seven days a week, all year round.
Our Riding School and Livery facilities are both accredited by the British Horse Society so you can be assured of the quality of our facilities and instructors.
We are the home of the Morpeth Group of the Riding for the Disabled Association and each week provide a wonderful experience for youngsters and adults with physical, mental and sensory disabilities. Those who come to ride at the Pegasus Centre develop skills they never knew they possessed and develop their confidence. We encourage riders to take part in competitions and other events and many achieve rewarding success as a result.
The Pegasus Centre is managed by Blyth Valley Arts and Leisure and as a consequence we are able to provide not just equestrian activities but also access to other leisure pursuits such as archery, map-reading and field-crafts.
Our activities are delivered thanks to well-qualified staff and volunteers and we are always looking for more people to join our team.
If you want to ‘live the dream’ why not come to the Pegasus Centre?
